We've talked before our mouths moved,
We knew before the thought had knocked on our door,
We said hello before our eyes met,
We kissed before our lips embraced,
and also
We said goodbye before our tears danced down our cheeks,
and thus,
memories gave us immortality
in each other's souls
where we are free
